These are the five maps on the 4F: Rail Team Damage server rotation (ctf). Note: Team damage is on, but you are not supposed to kill your team mates on purpose. The reason its on is because the game is harder when your not sure if its a team mate or opponent when you use the rail infrared from behind a wall.

With Christmas coming around yet again and RED FACTION still alive and kicking, it seemed like a good idea to put together a Christmas themed map pack.
The first two maps (DM-CHRISTMAS and DM-MERRY-CHRISTMAS) have been altered by Hapa Hanu to make their music playable with Macs. These files are backwards compatible with the original versions of these maps released in December 2004 so we should now have a larger pool of players who can enjoy these maps. All hail Hapa Hanu for solving the Mac Music Crash Problem.
The third map (DM-FM-MerryChristmas) was never actually released. The legendary map maker {FM} Tech N9ne beta tested this one and shelved it after discovering that it had a crashing problem if a player tried to use rockets to chop down the Christmas tree. This is a beautiful micro map and wonderful to play as long as you can resist the temptation to chop down the tree. Those new to the game might not be familiar with {FM} Tech N9ne’s maps and I’d strongly encourage you to go download them.
The final map in this pack was recently released as part of the “Long Live the Stick Mappack” by (Goober>CP<(L)) and (A Guy). Baton fans may want to get that whole map pack if you enjoy playing this one.

I just wanted to make it easier for everyone to get all of the MicroFaction levels fast and easy.... I had to download them off of here 1 by 1, and it took forever, now you and everyone can get all 6 MicroFaction levels in one place all by themselves... happy playing!

On February 10, 2007 the file was replaced with one that didn't contain two of the same files thus decreasing the file size about 9 megs. Which is good news for those that haven't downloaded it yet. |
