As many people are complaining about having to search through all 14~ pages of this topic, so here is a summary:
Pure Faction will:
Fix the issue with new Nvidia graphics cards (tested on 8600, 8800gts, 8800gt, 8800gtx).
Provide a stronger anti-cheat solution than has previously been available (vpp/tble mods, colorbots, glitches, wallhacks, trainers).
Fix numerous exploits which allow an attacker to crash players/servers.
Add new options for mappers e.g. working CCTV cameras.
All more game customization.
Only allow pure people to play in your server.
Tell non-pure users where they can get the program.
Add various spectate modes.
Provide optional new rcon commands.
Allow for some basic scripting.
Work for all RF language versions.
Pure Faction will not:
Prevent you from joining regular 1.2 servers.
Crash when you try to rcon ban players.
Require you to overwrite any files (so you can still play RF1.2 regular from the same folder if you should wish to do so).
I'm approaching getting the initial beta version ready for distribution, however it will be a few more days. The first version will not have all the features listed above, but I have at the very least tested all of them enough to ensure they are feasible. |

I can vouch for Trotskie's credibility. I've used most of these features in some way or another over the last while and... all i can say is... WOW!
For those of you who doubt Trot........ Don't 
There's just so many features in Pure now... I see no reason why anyone wouldnt get it when it is released. Plus the added fact that Pure Faction will be mandatory among any RFCL players |

Can we get that cel-shaded mode along with the card fix? I wanna play through the SP like that now. A wireframe mode would be useful for level editing as well. |

I say Listen Server hosts only... well and SP.
No matches/serious games are played on listen servers anyway
Besides... the Portals in the maps would block a great deal of wall"hacking" possibilities in most maps

Yeh i heard about the mouse sensitvity being used because i was being sort of trained by flag while he was testing pure faction mouse sensivity |
